Being apart of a new program in my school district comes with a lot of benefits. One being the lego kits purchased for our classroom.
Each day a student is picked (who exhibits stellar behavior) to take home the lego backpack. Once they are home they build and write about their lego creation.
This has been a HUGE hit in my classroom! (thanks to a fellow co-worker!) It's double awesome because the students don't view it as homework!
